Take a drive out and about! Lafayette is a great weekend getaway - even for people from IU country. Some great restaurants to choose from in both cities. I cannot really do a review on Lafayette. We were driving from FLA to WI and it got very late and the snowstorm deterred us from making it home.
We just needed somewhere nice to stay, and the Comfort Inn took great care of us. Other than the hotel, we did not go anywhere else in Lafayette. Went to visit grandaughter at Purdue. Not alot in Lafayette, but a cute town. Ate at XXX historic drive in in W Lafayette - owners' daughter waited on us and had several stories to tell about the place.
The hotel itself is beautiful. The staff and appliances are what need "adjusting". Correction, the night staff and check out staff were the ones who made our visit unpleasant. The afternoon and morning staff, especially the meal prep staff were amazing! I was disappointed and sadden by my booking especially even more for my family. I was looking for to staying at a nice place for me and my family.

Love the location and the staff is always so friendly. They are both diabetic also and having the refrigerator and kitchen area is great for having food and supplies for blood sugar drops, etc. After these 2 incidents with the manager Jennifer I didn't like anything about the place. All because she wouldn't reimburse for the water leak that flooded our bathroom and management above her went over her decision and did reimburse.
That is what caused this hateful manager to kick us out and bringing out a vindictive, bitter character who should not be working with the public at all. Very unprofessional for such a classy hotel. There was stains all over the sheets, big holes in the blanket, and hair in our towels. It was hot and sticky if you were outside the room which made loading and unloading miserable! When I booked it said free breakfast but there was not breakfast. We will not be staying here again.
