Regarding other reviews of Hacienda Cazadores that mention road and train noise, this is true but there is NO HOTEL in Navojoa that does not suffer the same problem after nearly 30 years of going there I know this to be true. Frankly, Cazadores has the least noise from the road and train because the walls are so thick. I love Navojoa, I have family there and it is my mother's birthplace. We visited during Day of the Dead weekend to celebrate by my grandparent's graves with family and friends.
The beach is only about 1 hour away. We also visited Alamos which is only 1 hour away from Navojoa and it is amazing if you like to visit historical and magical towns such like this one. There is a lot to do in Navojoa, from shopping to night life, or a great day at the beach. Helpful people, clean town and quieter than others we have recently visited; not so much hustling on the streets. We used a taxi to get around and even bumped into guests from the hotel we stayed at in Alamos, which was our next stop.
